A sensor inside your tank and an app that turns what it sees into action. Know how many days of water you have left, find supply nearby — or sell your surplus to those who need it most. Every emergency tanker avoided is money saved.

Managing water shouldn't be a full-time job.
Knocking on the tank or climbing to the roof to check the level is dangerous and imprecise. You never know if the water will last until tomorrow.
When water runs out suddenly, the price of a tanker delivery spikes. Ordering in a rush always costs more.
Without knowing how much you use per day, planning is impossible. Grid supply interruptions catch your household off guard.
A system designed to be understood without reading a single word.

Mount it on your tank. From then on, readings are automatic — no guessing, no climbing the roof.

Register your tank with its dimensions and type. See supply points near you — free, no sensor needed.

Know how many days of water you have, your consumption patterns, and get suggestions to save.

See sellers near you, compare prices, and order before the crisis — not after.

Straight answers, no jargon.
No. Without a sensor, you can use the app to see all supply points near you — community standpipes, boreholes, and sellers with water available in your neighbourhood. The sensor automates tank readings and unlocks alerts and consumption insights.
Pricing depends on your needs. Check our plans on this page or get in touch directly — we respond within 48 hours.
Our team. Installation takes less than 30 minutes. For users outside the regions where we currently operate, we provide detailed self-installation instructions.
Partly. Without internet, you can still view your history and analytics saved on your phone. For real-time notifications, the device needs to be online. The good news: you don't need to worry about the device's data. We cover the connectivity — there's nothing to top up or recharge. Sensor owners can also enable SMS alerts (additional fee).
Jila has its own battery that lasts at least one week without power. You get a warning when it's running low, and it charges in under 30 minutes. With a solar panel, you shouldn't see any downtime.
Yes. The sensor is accurate to within hundreds of litres, depending on tank size. Precise enough to know exactly how many days of water you have left.
Via the app and SMS. WhatsApp is in development. You can configure which alerts you want and when.
Yes, one per tank. But if you have multiple tanks connected by pipes and the water rises to the same level in all of them, one sensor is enough.
The device has LED lights that project colour onto the wall — visible even in the dark. Red means critical level, blue means normal, and green means the tank is full. It updates in real time, so anyone in the house can see the tank status at a glance without opening the app.
In the app, enable your location and choose how far you're willing to go (up to 10 km). We show available points with price, ratings, and distance. You can compare before choosing.
No. With the sensor, Jila measures exactly how much water was in the tank before and after refilling. This lets you pay per litre with precision — something that was never possible before.
Sellers have ratings from other buyers and a verification badge. You can see their reputation and price before ordering.
Directly to the seller. In-app payment is in development. If a seller takes too long, you can cancel the order.
Yes. Anyone can create a seller profile — whether you have a tanker or simply surplus water at home. Set your price, indicate when you're available, and buyers find you on the app. When you don't want to sell, deactivate your profile and no one will see it. Jila charges no commission.
A GPS-enabled sensor on your truck gives you route history, delivery data per trip, and shows exactly how much water you lose in transit. We also identify high-demand zones from our network — so you know where to go instead of driving aimlessly.
Optionally. You can enable real-time location in the app. When it's on, nearby households can see your truck on the map and request water directly with a tap. Turn it off whenever you want.
Yes. Households with surplus can opt in to be visible to trucks. The household is fully in control — they choose which types of sellers can see their levels and can turn it off at any time. This saves the truck from having to go back to the source to refill.
Jila shows you the zones with highest demand right now. Instead of driving around aimlessly, you can head straight to neighbourhoods where the chances of finding a buyer are highest.
Yes. We have a web portal for organisations with a multi-site dashboard, customisable access controls, and exportable reports. Each branch can see only its data, while headquarters sees everything.
Yes. You can invite others to see your tank in the app. You decide whether they can only view or also order water and change settings.
Yes. Your data is private and is not shared with third parties.
