Inside the device we provide, there is a mini-computer that constantly analyses all the data from its sensors to check if the way your water is being used is normal or if it's likely you'll run out of water shortly. Depending on what it discovers, it will decide whether or not you should be sent an SMS to warn you.
No. If you use our Early Warning System (EWS), a feature phone is enough. In fact, you can get some of the benefits of the EWS without a phone at all, as it comes with lights that changes colors depending on how much water is left in the tank. However, to be able to order water from the marketplace, you'll need to have a smartphone to install the app.
You can use Jila in differen ways: 1) App only. In this case, clients will use their app to request refills and you'll receive a notification so you can directly coordinate with them. 2) Using the app and a version of the Jila EWS that you attach to your water truck to accurately measure how many liters of water you've sold to any user. That way you can start charging by liters and not guesses. Your users will be able confirm the amount of water you sold if they also have a Jila EWS installed in their tanks. In addition to the app and the EWS, we can also install water quality sensors on your water truck to help you assure your users that you're selling them quality water.
